STUD INTRODUCTION
My late mother, Mrs. Lee Sinclair, founded Malibu Park Pony Stud in the early 1960's. In those earlier years we concentrated on breeding Australian, Shetland & Welsh ponies. We experienced great success at Royal Show level, winning major awards at Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane Royals. Malibu Park ponies impacted on the show ring, and became a force to be reckoned with. Two of the early Australian pony mares, Yarrayong Pageant and Spring Park Rosebud, were to found the most influential bloodlines at Malibu Park which continue today. Pageant, who was Grand Champion Australian Pony Stud Book mare at the Melbourne Royal in 1976, was beyond doubt ahead of her time. We have daughters and grand daughters of hers still breeding at the stud today, and they all have the refined beauty and elegance.

Upon formation of the Riding Pony Society in Australia in 1975 Mum became a foundation committee member and a Federal Delegate. The Riding ponies were viewed as the new "shining stars" of the future in pony breeding and showing, and like many others we too began breeding riding ponies. Eventually they took over and our Australian & Welsh ponies proved to be valuable foundation mares.

Our success in the show ring continues in led and ridden classes, Malibu Park ponies being prolific winners at Royal and State Shows in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, NT and New South Wales including  Pony of the Year Awards in Victoria, NT and Queensland.

Ponies with the Malibu Park prefix have also been sold to the UK, USA, New Zealand and Japan.
